Come along to our free public lecture on Melanoma Awareness at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin on 14th May 2009. You’ll hear from an expert talking about:

• Melanoma Awareness in Ireland
• Prevention, Detection and Treatment
• Learn how to check you moles correctly
• Sun Safety

Nearly 90,000 skin cancers are diagnosed every year in Europe. Ireland has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in Europe, with nearly 8,000 cases diagnosed in 2007*.

• 90% of skin cancers can be cured, if detected on time
