HSE ladder exchange initiative

Between 1 September and 31 December 2009, HSE are running their annual ladder exchange initiative.

Falls from height remain one of the largest causes of workplace accidents with 58 workers being killed and 3623 suffering serious injury as a result of a fall from height during 2007/2008. The exchange means that you can take any broken or defective ladders to participating partner outlets who will offer a discount on the sale of all new ladders. Last years initiative resulted in 5500 ladders being exchanged.
