First of all, thank you to everyone who suggested a name for the New Volcanic Island Eco Resort in our April newsletter. We did read all your suggestions and our favourite was 'Dita e Rrenave', apparently a hot water spa in Albania.

Florida property boost as Bernanke tips recovery
The US economy and property market should start to pick up by the end of the year, chairman of the Federal Reserve Ben Bernanke has said.
Mr Bernanke told Congress that the country will start to economy growth resuming providing there is no relapse in the financial sector, while the property market is near the bottom. Read the full article here.
South of France in Capital of Culture boost
A large area of the south of France is to jointly hold the title of European Capital of Culture in 2013, it has been announced.
The European Union has decided that Marseille-Provence will share the status with the Slovakian city of Kosice, something that may interest those seeking French property.
Such a focus could help the Mediterranean port and the surrounding area gain more tourism, investment and a higher profile, all of which could help increase property values.
